Print Associates has developed the patented Intelligent Print Control Software suite [IPCS®] to provide a comprehensive Output Management solution for public and private enterprises. IPCS comprises:

IPCS Investigator collects and interprets data on all print jobs transmitted to local and network printers connected to an organisation’s computer network. The collected data becomes the basis for a highly detailed analysis of the operation, utilisation and performance of the organisation’s printer fleet.

Analyst analyses the data collected by IPCS Investigator and generates reports in tabular and graphical form. It also compiles performance indicators of the organisation’s printing function.

The Print Investigation Report is a consultancy report produced using our Comprehensive Output Assessment Methodology (COAM) which assimilates analysed data from Investigator/Analyst, forensic accounting, business objectives, user needs, physical locations, performance indicators, structured interviews, benchmarks and other factors into recommended print strategies.

IPCS Enterprise is available to deploy across the network to automatically save printing costs by managing an organisation’s printing in real time. This provides on-going improvements in performance and significant reductions in costs. Between 30 and 50% cost saving can be achieved by the effective implementation of IPCS Enterprise alone. Printed output is controlled centrally, greatly simplifying both control and maintenance. The management protocol used by IPCS Enterprise is based on a set of printing ‘rules’ designed using the data analysis from IPCS Investigator.

The IPCS suite is an IBM On Demand product – tested by IBM laboratories to be used in conjunction IBM systems solutions.
